Jody Lundquist

Jody Lundquist was appointed in June of 2025 to fill a vacancy on the Board.

Lundquist is chief financial officer and a partner at Boomerang Catapult and executive director of Northern Michigan Angels in Traverse City. She previously served as finance director for Grand Traverse County and the City of Benton Harbor and chief financial officer for the City of Flint. She is a graduate of Arizona State University where she also earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in accounting.

A licensed CPA, she said in her application for the position that her skills in finance, governance, and community‐building map directly to a trustee’s fiduciary, policy-setting and monitoring responsibilities.

In addition to her professional roles, Lundquist is actively involved in community service, serving as a board member for Goodwill Northern Michigan and as a member and past Board Chair of Impact100 Traverse City, a women-led philanthropic organization.

Lundquist will serve until the next regular community college election in November 2026. At that time voters will choose a candidate to serve the remainder of the term, which expires December 31, 2028.
