His involvement with the International Affairs Forum (IAF) fueled his passion for public service and introduced him to his greatest mentors: retired U.S. Consul General (ret.) Jack Segal and his wife, Karen Puschel Segal. Inspired by their dedication to service, Alexander earned a full-tuition scholarship for his MPP. He is currently applying to law schools, looking forward to starting his legal education next fall and launching a career dedicated to serving others. |
After serving in the U.S. Navy and earning a degree from Harvard University, Alex returned to NMC as a Student Success Coach and Veterans Advisor. Despite the challenges of the post-COVID landscape, Alex was determined to revitalize the sense of community he had experienced years prior. The result is the Multicultural Club—now one of the largest, most vibrant, and active groups on campus. However, his leadership didn't stop there; his contributions to the International Affairs Forum further cemented his role as a champion for continuing global connection on our campus. - Jim Bensley, NMC |
