Please let us know which fund you’d like to support by choosing from the drop-down menu in our online giving form. If the fund you’d like to support isn’t listed in the drop-down menu, please choose “Other” and type in the name of the scholarship, program, or project you’d like your gift to support.

You can make your check out to the NMC Foundation and send it to: NMC Foundation,1701 E Front St, Traverse City, MI 49686. Please let us know which fund you’d like to support by including a note or writing on the memo line.

Your annual gift of $1,000 or more to any fund at the college, including community programs, makes you part of the President’s Club, NMC’s most prestigious annual giving society. Establishing an endowment fund is a way for you to make a permanent investment in the college that generates funds to be used, in perpetuity, to support NMC and other specific programs. An endowed fund can be established and named with a gift of $25,000 or more. To learn how you can make a lasting impact through an endowed fund, please contact us.

When you make a major gift, you allow the college to evolve and you help guide NMC toward an ever stronger future. Please contact us to learn about how you can have a transformational impact on NMC by making a major gift.

We are thankful that you are considering NMC in your future planning. While we always encourage your attorney to amend this language to suit your particular situation when necessary, below is suggested language that you may consider.

Sample: "I give or bequeath the (e.g., sum of $______, % of estate, real estate, life insurance, retirements assets, etc.) to the Northwestern Michigan College Foundation, a Michigan nonprofit corporation located in Traverse City, Michigan, for the following use and purpose: (DESCRIPTION OF PURPOSES such as scholarship name and/or details)."

Memorial gifts can be an especially meaningful way for you to commemorate a loved one or celebrate a personal milestone while also benefiting NMC. If you would like to make a gift in memory of someone, you can indicate your wish on our online giving form, or in a note mailed with your check.
