Join Canticum Novum for their exciting program of choral music featuring music by the masters both old and new: Mozart, Brahms, Fauré, Lauridsen, Whitacre, Paulus, and Swingle. And, featuring music from cultures around the world including the music of Germany, Latvia, India, Russia, France, and American spirituals and hymn tunes.
General Seating. Suggested donations of $15 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors will be taken at the door.

May 19 & 20, 7:30pm (Dennos Museum Sculpture Court)
NMC Canticum Novum, Jeffrey Cobb – Director
Join NMC’s Canticum Novum for a very special event: “A Spring Evening of Wine, Sweets and Song.” This event will feature Northern Michigan’s premier choral ensemble, Canticum Novum, performing in the beautiful Dennos Museum Sculpture Court. Audience members will be treated to choral music of the masters both old and new, and performances by special guest musicians. Your admission ticket includes  a glass of wine or sparkling wine from select local vineyards including: Chateau Chantal, Mawby, Bowers Harbor, Chateau Grand Traverse, Black Star Farms, and Good Harbor. (Additional drink tickets may be purchased at the door.) The evening’s offerings will also include, light hors d’oeuvres, cheese and charcuterie from Manny’s Cheese Shop, and sweet treats from Morsels. Don’t miss this music event!

Join Canticum Novum for a “Welcome Home Concert” as they return home from their successful New York tour. The program will feature music by the masters both old and new: Mozart, Brahms, Fauré, Lauridsen, Whitacre, Paulus, and Swingle. And, will feature music from cultures around the world including the music of Germany, Latvia, India, Russia, France, American spirituals and hymn tunes, plus a few surprises!

July 4, 6:00pm (Northport Marina, Northport)
NMC Summer Concert Band – Pat Brumbaugh, Director
Join the NMC Summer Concert Band as they share the stage with the Northport Community Band. This concert will feature marches and highlights from your favorite musicals!
