The NMC Brand
- To protect college brand integrity and trademark protections, users may not upload NMC logos, including the hawk owl, wordmarks, mascots, graphic elements, institutional photography, video or other branded assets into third-party AI applications to generate new logos, illustrations, stylized imagery or other derivative visual assets.
- All visual materials representing NMC must comply with the college's brand standards and guidelines. If there is a question, NMC Public Relations, Marketing & Communications makes the final determination.
- Using AI tools with NMC brand assets is permissible in NMC institutionally-recommended tools as defined in policy D510-00 FAQs Appendix A such as Canva accounts (created by PRMC), Gemini or Gemini Notebook, as long as the assets are kept in their original form and no brand variations are generated .
