Notes:
- Instructors stepping from one role to another will begin under the Semester 1 pay upon starting the new role.
- Instructor role changes will take effect once the instructor provides evidence of meeting the FAA regulatory requirements, as well as NMC internal requirements.
- Lead CFIs must meet the requirements of §61.185(j) and §61.195(f) for the AME Category and Class, or §141.37.
- Senior CFIs must meet the requirements of §61.195(h) or have 2,500 hours and an appointment by the Department Director.
- Three hours of aircraft time will be provided for one of the following ratings: CFII, MEI or seaplane, provided that the instructor will be employed in that role for one full semester after completion of the rating.
- A tuition benefit (based on NMC’s policy, % of one FTE @ 2080 annual hours) will be available for NMC courses.
Additional aviation experience may result in a request for higher placement at the discretion of the Division Director.
