Immigration: Michigan & Beyond

NMC's Office of Student Life will host Immigration: Michigan & Beyond, a free one-day conference, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 1 in Milliken Auditorium. Register here »

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. At 9 a.m. JFON Immigration Attorney Marcelo Betti will start the conference with Immigration 101, followed by local stories and a panel discussion featuring Betti, John King of King Orchards, Rev. Wayne Dziekan of the Diocese of Gaylord, and Gladys Munoz of the Justice and Peace Advocacy Center. At 11:30 a.m. participants will hear from Susan Reed, managing attorney for the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center.

The conference concludes at 12:30 p.m. with a complimentary lunch and coffee and conversation with speakers. The event is free, but please register here.
