Class Cancellations

Note that this is a list of daily class cancellations for NMC academic classes only, not closed and canceled classes for each semester. Use the contact information below to check on other cancellations. To check whether the college itself is closed, please visit the NMC home page.

This page is is updated continuously as class cancellations are reported.

NMC faculty: To submit a cancellation, follow the instructions on the myNMC employee site (login required).

NMC students: Refer to the Daily Class Cancellations list below and check Moodle and your student email for any instructor communications.

NMC University Center students: Call the University Center at (231) 995-1777, or contact your institution or instructor directly at the University Center.

Double-check the date(s) below since they may refer to a different day's cancellation(s) than today.

* For delayed openings, if a student’s class begins before the designated opening time that class would be canceled unless one hour of instruction remains after the designated opening time. Read the full Inclement Weather policy here.
